192.168.0.1 is the private IP address of the IPv4 network. It is also known as the host address in computer systems.
The default router IP address configuration for wireless routers or ADSL modems is manufactured by companies such as TP-Link, Verizon devices, ASUS routers, Century Link, and other router manufacturers. The management console for these routers can be accessed by typing 192.168.0.1 into your browser and visiting the page.
What is 192.168.0.1?
192.168.0.1 is a local or private IP address provided by your router. As mentioned earlier, many brands of routers use this IP address. To set up your router, you need to log in to this IP address with administrator login information. After logging in with administrator data, you can set your personal username and password.
Some of you may find the “page not found” after typing the IP address in the address bar. This is due to a common mistake we usually make. IP 192.168.0.1 can be written incorrectly as 192.168.o.1 – this is “O.1” (letter “o” point one) instead of “0.1” (zero point one) at the end. In this case, the admin page does not open and shows “page not found”. We suggest you bookmark the page after opening it correctly the first time. This way you will not enter incorrectly the next time you need to access the address
